{Miss Maylin} 6 Months Old

At 6 months old, Maylin:

~ weighs 13 lbs 7 ounces
~ is 25 inches long
~ sleeps in her crib upstairs, by herself
~ consistently sleeps 12 hours a night, from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
~ no longer sleeps swaddled
~ can stand without human support when supporting herself on a low, flat object or vertical bars
~ nurses 5 to 6 times a day
~ is eating solids; has eaten oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, green peas, applesauce, and pears
~ responds to her name
~ intentionally makes noises in response to stimuli
~ has figured out how to intentionally cough as a way of communicating
~ wears clothing sizes 3 months, 3-6 months, and some 6 month clothing
~ wears diapers size 2
~ has traveled to New Orleans, Lafayette, Gulf Shores, and Dallas
~ sits unassisted in bath tub during bath time
~ can put her passy in her mouth by herself
~ favorite toy is an orange rubber monkey named Cocoa
~ laughs occasionally

This baby girl truly lights up our home. We love her so. Happy 6 Months, Sweet Maylin!
